The BIO-GREENERGY LAB Mondulkiri project is a significant undertaking covering an expansive 100 hectares. Situated in a richly nourished forestry area, the site is home to a diverse range of trees and plants. This biodiversity not only enhances the ecological value of the land but also provides a promising foundation for future research and development initiatives focused on the local species.
At the core of the master plan is a commitment to preservation rather than recreation. This philosophy prioritizes the maintenance of the existing natural habitat, ensuring that the ecological integrity of the site remains intact. The main recreational element of the project is the central building, which serves as a hub for visitors and researchers alike, while the surrounding areas are carefully designed to sustain and protect the biodiversity.
To facilitate access to the site, a unique treetop walk is incorporated, allowing visitors to experience the natural beauty from an elevated perspective. This feature not only enhances the visitor experience but also minimizes disruption to the existing ecosystem. The design aims to create a seamless integration of built environments and natural landscapes.
The project is equipped with a variety of innovative facilities and spaces that support both recreational and research activities. Key features include a rooftop green skiing area, picnic spots, an indoor entertainment zone, a rooftop restaurant, and an indoor garden. Additional amenities such as a crop field, sports center, outdoor market, bike roadway, outdoor sport center, lab exhibition hall, and meditation center further enrich the offerings of the BIO-GREENERGY LAB, providing a holistic environment for learning, recreation, and connection with nature.
